Jeffery Davis Chay is a North Carolina–based cinematographer working in narrative and commercial film. His recent work includes serving as Director and Director of Photography for the first national television advertising campaign produced by students for the University of North Carolina’s First & For All campaign. He also served as Director of Photography for an HonorBridge commercial featuring former NBA All-Star Antawn Jamison. His narrative work includes the short films At Last, the Gift, Visitor, and the forthcoming Dogmom.

Jeffery is the co-founder of New Meridian Pictures, an independent production company focused on narrative filmmaking. Through New Meridian, he continues to develop and photograph independent films while expanding his work across commercial and narrative productions.

He is currently completing degrees in Media & Journalism and Political Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
